A full-time working mother with two teen daughters, this blogger has an abundance of anecdotes, opinions and drama in her life, albeit it’s all harmless.  She’s slightly limited, however, to the topics she’s allowed to air publicly, just in case the family checks in from time to time.  Subjects of a highly personal matter have been deemed off-limits.  So far, she has adhered to guidelines, but could slip at any given moment and inadvertently share too much personal information, however this could only be found near the bottom of a post.

But note that this is not a mommy blog. Not only are there plenty of those already, this blogger does not intend to feign an expertise in mommyhood nor offer practical advice (It’s not about the kids).  There will be no recipes or household hints either.

In short, she writes about whatever topic strikes a chord with her, regardless of how random it may be.  She makes mistakes, throws temper tantrums daily, and reaches her limit at least twice a day. To avoid insanity, she tries to focus on the humor of it all, and believes in general that people need to lighten up and take the time to laugh.  While it’s premature to determine how this blog will evolve, the blogger looks to Erma Bombeck (but cooler), Debra from ”Everybody Loves Raymond” (without the family down the street), Chelsea Handler (without the celebrity guests), Andy Rooney (minus the eyebrows), Rosanne (without the white trash element) and Carrie Bradshaw (minus the sex) for inspiration.  You get the point.

Oh yes, and she likes to refer to herself in 3rd person.
